The New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association recently held its annual Business Education Conference and Partner Expo in Manchester, NH. Twelve business session workshops included topics such as fixed operations, legal/regulatory, marketing/sales, and human resources. The NHADA Vendor Expo featured more than 50 businesses.

“If dealers become more knowledgeable about their business, then they’ll be able to grow their business,” says Peter McNamara, President of NHADA. “Our opportunity is to provide them access through our partners that will help them do just that.”

NHADA supports retail motor vehicle sales and the service industry in New Hampshire. The association is also the voice of over 550 businesses, which employ over 14,000 people in the state.

Flo Lopez of Cox Automotive presented the workshop “Lights, Camera, Action;” Profiting from Video in Your Sales, Service, BDC, Training & Social Media Departments.” “It was great showing members how to film and edit videos for maximum customer engagement in their BDC departments,” says Flo. “You can really stand out by learning how to respond to customer inquiries with unique and engaging video emails and texts… This will increase your appointment-setting ratio dramatically.”

The video workshop describes how Service Departments can close 50% more of their multi-point inspection work by using personalized customer videos. “Even your customer retention and CSI scores improve when you use video and a consultative approach,” says Flo.
